Alphabet Keyguard

Similar to the idea of a FAB Frenchay Alphabet Board. The key difference is that you can slide out and replace the alphabet board. Allowing the same keyguard to be used for different keyboard layouts, languages and colour options.

Launchpad

The idea behind launchpad is that we want to be able to create a paper-based resource such as our core board but make it available in a variety of colours, fonts, languages, sizes, symbol sets. Right now, we do this by manually creating a board to cover each case which is time consuming. We wanted a system that would allow us to manage all the paper-based resources more efficiently.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

We have recently been trying to integrate a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system into our workflows. The goal of this system is for us to manage our communication with customers of our various services in one place.

Text To Speech Systems

Text to speech (TTS) is what is used to generate synthesised voice by a communication aid or any computer.

PowerBI

PowerBI is a tool we use to get insight into the data we have inside of BEST and other spreadsheets. It allows us to create dynamic graphs based on that data.

TextAloud

TextAloud is designed as a simple text-to-speech reading app. It allows users to read out text in their chosen voice. Users can choose to read out their text in different sections and add natural pauses, this is perfect for a client who might want to give a presentation and has it all typed out in a text document who wants to be able to play sentence by sentence. TextAloud also gives you access to voices in over 100 different languages so a user can effortlessly read text in multiple different languages. This is helpful for multilingual clients as we have voices in languages that other apps do not support.

Dasher

Dasher is an information-efficient text-entry interface driven by natural continuous pointing gestures, or alternative input methods such as headmouse, gaze and switch input. Learn more about it here:
